Dr. Bob Hudgins
… is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon. From 1969 to 2010 he performed spine surgery, especially disc surgery, and Gamma Knife Radiosurgery in treatment of the brain. Dr. Hudgins brought the Gamma Knife to Texas, the third one in the U.S., and treated the first patient in Texas in 1989.
His focus is spine surgery, Gamma Knife for brain tumors and AVMs (arteriovenous malformations), discectomies, radiosurgery, trigeminal neuralgia, cervical fusion, radiculopathy, myelopathy, spinal stenosis, and spinal abscess. He has ten published articles in textbooks and 40 journal articles, in addition to medical research. He was selected as one of the "Best Doctors in America," 2005-2006.
